APRIL 19, 2014- The
Y.H. Park Taekwondo Academy of Levittown, NY held its annual intramural
Board Breaking Tournament earlier today and it was a tremendous success. Students competed in divisions, in a championship style setting, with strict tournament rules. Competitors had the opportunity to impress the judges with two rounds of creative breaking techniques in as many stations as they desired for a given period of time. Scoring was done by a three panel group of senior Black Belts that used Taekwondo Championship scoring criteria for the event.

Students praised the event as fun, educational, and useful in helping them to prepare for upcoming tournaments outside the Dojang, including the 2014 NY Open Taekwondo Championships and Korean Cultural Festival in the latter part of the year.
